Muscat
Muscat produces wines with an aromatic quality which is second, or even equal, to none. Very aromatic it demonstrates amazingly the flavour of crisp grapes. It is traditionally served as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to asparagus. Muscat is one of the four noble grapes of the region. Therefore it features in all of the appellations (AOP Alsace, Alsace Grand Cru, it is also processed in Vendanges Tardives and Sélection of Grains Nobles)

Muscat Cuvée Février 2016
Test of ice wine, harvested in February at -10°C, this wine is a little different from the traditional Muscat d’Alsace.
The colour is pale yellow, the nose is very present, woody on the first notes, it quickly migrates to notes of peach and white flowers.
In the mouth, sweetness is very present (although 44g is not extremely sweet) the aromas are powerful and delicate with warm notes of stone fruits and grapes. The acidity is well present and keeps the side fresh.
Note: For the moment (2019) a decanter is strongly recommended to benefit from all the power and finesse of this wine.
