A rare and prestigious wine with an extreme concentration and fantastic aromatic richness, this wine has extraordinary reminiscences of cooked peaches, candied lemon zest, fruit cake, caramelized butter, caramel, plum cake and various spices; on the palate, cherries, raspberries, apricots, orange peel confit bust. Graceful, well structured, this nicely proportioned wine seems to be at the peak of its maturity yet it has the balance and substance necessary for a good ageing in the cellar.

Read moreTest of ice wine, harvested in February at -10°C, this wine is a little different from the traditional Muscat d’Alsace.
The colour is pale yellow, the nose is very present, woody on the first notes, it quickly migrates to notes of peach and white flowers.
In the mouth, sweetness is very present (although 44g is not extremely sweet) the aromas are powerful and delicate with warm notes of stone fruits and grapes. The acidity is well present and keeps the side fresh.
Note: For the moment (2019) a decanter is strongly recommended to benefit from all the power and finesse of this wine. -

The ageing potential is also fantastic, thanks to its 80 grams of sugar and a very high acidity for a Gewurztraminer, it can be kept easily between 20 and 30 years.
