Gewurztraminer Zinnkoepflé 2017
With a light yellow colour and a nose of fine spices and white flowers, this Zinnkoepflé will stand out for its fine and distinguished mouth, very delicate but voluptuous with notes of spices and flowers. The omnipresent acidity, rare on Gewurztraminer, makes it a wine that, while being aromatic, knows how to stay fresh and very pleasant to drink.
Superb wine with foie gras and spicy dishes, whether fish or white meat, you can also take it with cheese or simply as an aperitif.
Minimum: 2-3 years old
Optimal: 4-8 years old
Maximum: 12 years old

The colour is pale yellow, the nose is very present, woody on the first notes, it quickly migrates to notes of peach and white flowers.
In the mouth, sweetness is very present (although 44g is not extremely sweet) the aromas are powerful and delicate with warm notes of stone fruits and grapes. The acidity is well present and keeps the side fresh.
Note: For the moment (2019) a decanter is strongly recommended to benefit from all the power and finesse of this wine. -

Read morePassing on its brilliant yellow colour, this wine will make you discover a powerful nose that develops floral aromas reminiscent of rose, musk and sandalwood. In the mouth the attack is sweet and supple, suave and reveals notes of rose and cooked fruit. The finish is particularly interesting with a touch of acidity that brings out a very fresh side.
This wine has very good ageing potential (this is the case for most of 2017) and I look forward to its long-term evolution.
