Riesling Bollenberg 2016
After observing its clear, clear yellow colour, you can enjoy its very fruity nose with aromas of lemon, pine resin and pineapple. In the mouth the attack is frank and lively, the 12 g/l of residual sugar seems almost non-existent but contributes to the overwhelming sensation of the wine. The mouthfeel is crunchy with lemon and resinous flavours and salinity is very present. The balance is very well balanced and the length on the palate is impressive.

The colour is pale yellow, the nose is very present, woody on the first notes, it quickly migrates to notes of peach and white flowers.
In the mouth, sweetness is very present (although 44g is not extremely sweet) the aromas are powerful and delicate with warm notes of stone fruits and grapes. The acidity is well present and keeps the side fresh.
Note: For the moment (2019) a decanter is strongly recommended to benefit from all the power and finesse of this wine. -

The nose is impressively open and leads between apple, pear, candied quince and a woody side. It really gives the impression that this wine will be sweet, but….
On the palate, the attack is frank and lively, the wine then opens to bring us fruity flavours of apple and apricot just ripe, the minerality is well present behind the fruit and still highlights the very dry side of this mouth.
To sum up, the whole thing seems quite disconcerting at first sight but after the first surprise, we discover with curiosity the multiple facets of this wine which despite its strongly atypical aspect remains incredibly pleasant to taste. -
Gewurztraminer Zinnkoepflé 2017

The omnipresent acidity, rare on Gewurztraminer, makes it a wine that, while being aromatic, knows how to stay fresh and very pleasant to drink.
